*   There will be Round Robin style quizzing for both Local and District teams.

*  District Teams will be divided into two divisions: Crimson and Storm.

The Crimson division is our "highly competitive" division.  It will consist of district all-star teams (only one per district) vying for the title of SNU Field Champions for 2026.

The Storm division is our "less competitive" division.  It will consist of district teams not quite ready for the Crimson Division who want to quiz at Extravaganza. There is no limit to the number of District teams that may quiz in the Storm division.

*  Local Teams will be divided into two divisions: Experienced and Novice.

The Experienced division is a "highly competitive" division, typically consisting of quizzers with more than two years of quizzing experience, but may include beginning quizzers who have the knowledge and ability to jump earlier in a question.

The Novice division is our "less competitive" division, typically consisting of first and second year quizzers, but may include quizzers who have quizzed longer but lack the knowledge and ability to jump before hearing most, if not all, of a question.

*   Individual awards in all divisions will be based on Round Robin scores.

*   The top fourteen individual quizzers from the Crimson Division will compete in a quiz off to determine the SNU Field teams using the "Top 16" method as outlined in the Nazarene Youth Quizzing Rules and Guidelines. The two remaining "Top 16" participants will be determined by a 20 question Quiz Off between eight quizzers from the Crimson and Storm divisions (Crimson Quizzers 15-20; Storm Quizzers 1-2)

*   All teams will be seeded based on Round Robin play into elimination tournaments to decide placement for team awards. The one exception will be the Crimson Division, whose placement for team awards will be decided by Round Robin play.

*   District rounds will take place on Friday and Saturday morning. Local rounds will be Friday and Saturday afternoon.

*  Each participating District is encouraged  to supply at least two officials and one full set of QuizMachine equipment.

Please register teams, officials and equipment on this site by Saturday, March 21.
